Wakakirri 2025 – Hope Grows Here

Last Wednesday, 17 wonderful students in Year 3-6 lit up the stage at the Canberra Theatre, making our school incredibly proud. They performed a captivating seven minute dance story titled Hope Grows Here, which explored life on the farm and the mix of joy, challenges, and resilience that rural life brings.

The performance was a stunning blend of energy, emotion, and storytelling that left the audience spellbound. Apart from dancing their hearts out, Harriet, Ruby, and Maggie also spoke confidently on stage, sharing the inspiration behind the story and expressing heartfelt thanks to our amazing supporters, including the P&C, Yanco Shop, Yanco CWA, and our generous parents.

It was a truly unforgettable experience for our students, one filled with teamwork, courage, and creativity. We are so proud of their commitment, talent, and the way they represented our school on such a big stage.
