Blue Class News

It’s been a busy and exciting start to term 3 in Blue Class!

In English, students have been exploring spelling rules, expanding their vocabulary, and writing engaging narratives. We have been learning how to create sizzling starts, build tension, and bring characters to life. Students have also been working on their paragraph-writing skills using the TEEL structure to strengthen their persuasive and informative writing.

In Maths, we have been diving into place value, rounding large numbers, and solving real-world problems involving multiplication, division, and decimals. Students have enjoyed hands-on games and digital activities to stretch their thinking.

Science lessons have been filled with energy in every sense of the word. We have been learning about different energy sources, how they are used, and the ways they can be conserved. Students have worked on practical investigations and presented their findings creatively.

In Creative Arts, we have been preparing for our upcoming school display, working with a mix of painting, collage, and 3D art. The classroom has been buzzing with colour, texture, and imagination (as well as lots of hot glue gun sticks).

Blue Class has shown wonderful teamwork, focus, and enthusiasm so far this term. We cannot wait to see what they achieve next!
