Term 3, Week 9
Loving God,
As we come to the end of this school term, we thank You for all the learning, laughter, challenges, and growth we have shared together. Bless our students, families, and staff as we prepare for the holidays. May this be a time of rest, joy, and renewal.
Keep us safe in our travels and activities, and help us to return refreshed and ready for the new term ahead. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
As many of you are aware, Steven Robinson will no longer be working at St Mary’s Primary School. This news is especially significant for the 3/4R class, as well as our wider school community. We are deeply grateful for the care, dedication, and positive impact Steven has had on his students during his time at St Mary’s. We thank him sincerely for his service and wish him every success and happiness in the future.
I kindly ask that all members of our school community respect Steven’s privacy at this time and refrain from gossip or speculation regarding his departure. The circumstances are private, and our focus remains on supporting the students and ensuring a smooth transition.
A big congratulations to all the students who represented St Mary’s at the District Sports last Thursday. It was a fantastic day of competition, and you all did us proud with your effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship!
A special shout-out to Taylor B and Flynn, who have qualified for the next stage and will be competing at the Divisional event in Mornington on October 9th. We wish you both the very best — go St Mary’s! 🏅🎉
This week, we are excited to share two special events that parents and families are warmly invited to attend:
On Tuesday, families are invited to come and see this term’s Inquiry learning in action! Students have been exploring Science and will showcase their discoveries at our Science Fair from 2:45pm–4:00pm here at school. We look forward to celebrating their hard work and curiosity together.
On Thursday, it’s time to show your team spirit! Students are encouraged to come to school dressed in their favourite AFL team colours or gear. If your child isn’t an AFL fan, they are most welcome to wear the colours of any sporting team they support.
I hope all students have a fabulous holiday break! See you ready for a very busy Term 4!
