Did you know that The Dove Self-Esteem Fund reports that the top wish among all girls is for their parents to communicate better with them.

Over the last holidays I purchased a book titled "No more Mean Girls" by Katie Hurley author of the Happy Kid Handbook. Its really a book to share with your daughter as a parent.

It's subtitled "The secret to raising strong, confident and compassionate girls (a guide for parents of girls 3-13)"

The book has quite a lot of detail but also many practical strategies for helping your daughter navigate friendships and build self esteem.
