Library 2025

General Waste Incursion

Last Friday, we continued our Book Week celebrations with a special performance by the ‘Books to Life’ incursion group. The engaging show was based on General Waste, a thought-provoking text written by Michel Streich.

'General Waste loves stuff! Wasting lots of stuff! He tosses away apples after one bite, he has hour-long showers, he must have the latest uniform fashion, and he rides around in a monster truck! He shares a house with Gram-Gram. She always saves her leftovers, does her own repairs and cycles everywhere! One day, when General Waste finds himself trapped under a mountain of his own stuff, Gram-Gram comes to the rescue'.

Library Book Returns

With the holidays fast approaching, we kindly ask all families to please return any borrowed books to the library so we can prepare for Term 4.

It has been a wonderful term of reading, learning, and sharing stories. Thank you to all families for your continued support in fostering a love of books and reading!

Happy Reading over the holidays!
