Performing Arts

We are very excited to be bringing you Shrek Jr The Musical this term in just 7 short weeks!

Putting on a musical is a big team effort so any little help you can provide goes a long way. Big effort = big reward for our Cavendish Kids!

Please be advised there has been a change of date in regards to our first Sunday rehearsal at Monivae to avoid a clash with the Monivae College Play. 

Our Sunday rehearsals will now occur two weeks in a row: Sunday 24th & 31st August from 10am til 2:30pm at the Monivae Performing Arts Centre. 

I know it is tricky with weekend commitments, sports etc. but I do ask that you try to prioritise getting to these two Sunday rehearsals at Monivae because rehearsing in the performance space for an uninterrupted block of time really will make all the difference. It is only in these rehearsals that things start falling into place properly. 

All other rehearsals will occur within school hours. 

I am currently on the hunt for the following props, if you have any or can make any of the following items that we could borrow please drop them in to the music room when you can. 

I hope the hunt for costumes is going well! Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions/queries about your child's costumes!
