A Prayer for the Winter School Holidays

Loving and Gracious God,

We thank You for the gift of this winter season 

and the opportunity for a break from our usual routines.

As we enter these school holidays, 

we pray for a time of peace, rest, and joyful recreation.

Bless our students and families with safe travels, 

warmth, and quality time together.

Open our hearts to those who face the cold without shelter or support.

Remind us to see Your light in the darkness 

and to extend the warmth of Your love to everyone we encounter.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

We have achieved so much together this term. We have had our athletics carnival, Mother's Day, excursions and gala days, just to name a few events. Our children have embraced the many learning opportunities presented to them and have worked hard towards achieving their goals.

I acknowledge our dedicated staff who go above and beyond their regular responsibilities. Amidst the busyness and challenges, you have remained resilient, adaptable, and compassionate. Your passion, hard work, and dedication make our school a special place.

We know that by this point in the year, many hearts and hands feel weary. The work we do, both at school and at home, is sacred, demanding, and profoundly meaningful. So may the upcoming holidays be filled with rest, laughter, and all that matters most.
