Sealed with the Holy Spirit: Congratulations to our Confirmed!
Our parish community extends its warmest, most joyful congratulations to the candidates who received the Sacrament of Confirmation last Thursday evening. It was a beautiful celebration filled with grace, and a powerful reminder of the Holy Spirit’s active presence in our community.
Through the anointing with Holy Chrism and the laying on of hands, our Year 6 children have fully completed their sacraments of Christian initiation. They are now officially sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit; wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord, equipping them to be bold witnesses of Christ in the world.

We will present the newly confirmed with their Certificates at the conclusion of this Friday's Mass.
Sacrament of the Eucharist (First Holy Communion)
Preparations for this year's Sacrament of the Eucharist have begun.
If your child has been baptised in the Catholic Church and it is your intention for them to receive the sacrament, please complete the Google Form emailed yesterday, by Thursday June 4th, 2026.

IMPORTANT DATES
Thursday June 18th, 2026: Information Evening held at St. Mary's School hall at 6pm. Enter from 74 Roseberry Street, Ascot Vale
Sunday July 26th, 2026: Year 4 Sacrament of the Eucharist Commitment and Family Mass held at St. Margaret's Church at 8:30am, followed by Morning tea.
Tuesday July 28th, 2026: Pre Sacrament Reconciliation and Communion Practise at St. Mary's Church from 12:30pm. (An excursion note will be supplied for this event)
Saturday August 1st, 2026: Sacrament of the Eucharist Mass held at St. Mary's Church at 6pm. (More details on the practicalities of this evening will be communicated at the Information Evening)
