Food For Life

Our Year 9 and 10 Food Technology students have been busy taking on a “Healthy Food for Life” Design Challenge! Students designed and produced their own healthy and sustainable meals for a chosen target audience, such as busy teenagers, athletes, or families on a budget. Throughout the project, students explored food design, sustainability, safety, and creative problem-solving while developing practical cooking skills. We are proud of the creativity, teamwork, and delicious results showcased in their final products.

Ovens and Mitta Cross Country Run

Congratulations to the students who represented our school in Division Cross Country Running this week. If you think the conditions look cold and wet in the photos - you are right. The Winter conditions really made themselves known with rain, a frosty breeze, and a bitterly cold high of 8oC, that felt more like 5. Our athletes kept their spirits high, cheered each other on, and did their best to warm up so they could run a good race. Charlotte and Marley-May also came along to assist with managing the bibs for the whole event. Rowan and Eddy were clear winners in their respective races - well done. We are so proud of all our runners for getting out there and giving your all.
