Important Information Regarding Metro Bus Fare and Travel Pass Options
To ensure a smooth journey every time, please ensure your student is equipped with cash, a Metro GreenCard, or a Bus Pass when they travel on Metro services. Metro Tasmania’s pricing schedule:
- Cash Fare - $1 per trip·
- GreenCard - .80c per trip, with a daily maximum payment of $2 per day, irrespective of how many trips or the length of the trip taken

This twice-yearly magazine celebrates the strong sense of community present at the College and the exciting learning and co-curricular opportunities on offer.

EPlatform Digital Library
At MacKillop, we’re always striving to provide our students with unique and engaging learning opportunities. That’s why we’re excited to remind you about our ePlatform digital library, which offers free access to eBooks and audiobooks all year long, including during the summer holidays.
ePlatform contains thousands of fiction and non-fiction titles, curated for secondary school students. New books are added to the collection every month, so there are plenty of recent releases and popular titles available. Students can also make requests for new books to be added if the title they’re looking for isn’t available.

To use ePlatform on a school laptop:
- Log in to the Seqta Student Portal & go to the welcome page
- Follow the link to the Library Portal
- Click on the ePlatform logo on the Library homepage
- Sign-in with Single Sign On (SSO)
To use ePlatform on a mobile device:
- Download the ePlatform app
- Search for MacKillop Catholic College
- Enter your school email address and password to sign in

Our school has been asked to circulate the information below regarding the Catholic School Parents Australia (CSPA) 2026 Parent Survey on Student Wellbeing and Learning, that is being conducted by CSPA and the University of New England. Those interested in participating can click the link in the notice below for more information.
National Parent Survey!
The CSPA 2026 Parent Survey on Student Wellbeing and Learning is interested in the perspectives of parents/carers of one or more children who attend a Catholic School in Australia. Parents/carers who would like to share their views on existing and emerging concerns and interests they may have in relation to their child/children’s wellbeing and learning are invited to consider completing this anonymous, confidential, and completely voluntary online survey. This project has been approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee of the University of New England (Approval No. HE-2026-3196-6429, Valid to 18/12/2026).
Key information for parents:
Who can participate? Parents and carers aged 18 or over who have one or more children enrolled in a Catholic school or pre-school in Australia.
How long does it take? The survey takes approximately 15–20 minutes to complete.
Is it confidential? Yes. Participation is voluntary, anonymous and confidential.
What will the information be used for? The findings will help identify current and emerging issues affecting children's wellbeing and learning. They will contribute to CSPA and TCSPC's advocacy and work with governments and Catholic Education authorities.
Bus Stop Change
Please be advised that the school bus stop on the Orielton to Mornington service will be moved from 1250 Grasstree Hill Rd to 1312 Grasstree Hill Rd from 1 October 2026. The driver has been asked to inform impacted students.
