Kidpreneur

Our Grade 5 students recently completed the Kidpreneur Program, and what an incredible achievement it has been. A total of 21 teams of two students each designed and created their own individual businesses from start to finish. Throughout the program, teams developed a business plan and formally presented their ideas to the Principal, pitching their concepts before moving into the production stage.

Students handcrafted their products and sold them at the Altona Beach Market, gaining real-world experience in entrepreneurship, communication, teamwork and problem-solving. We are incredibly proud to share that every team was profitable, and all items sold were handmade by the students.

Even more impressively, all profits were donated to Foodbank, with a record-breaking total of $1,722 raised. This program not only built entrepreneurial skills but also highlighted the students’ generosity, creativity and commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

Well done to all of our Kidpreneurs!
