Sports Update

5/6 Soccer Gala Day

Thank you to all students for their effort and participation at the Southport District 5/6 Soccer Gala Day. Thank you to Janelle for creating the fixture and organising the event. Sincerely thank you to all parents who volunteered their time to coach and manage a team, it is greatly appreciated. Congratulations to Jack Turnbull and Maria Le on winning the 'Good Sports Awards' for demonstrating our school values. 

3/4 Hoop Time Regional Finals

Our All-Star basketballers in Years 3 & 4 participated at the Southern Region Finals on Monday, November 7 at Glen Waverley.  Thank you to all parents to assisting with transport and coaching the teams. Our 3/4 girls team made it to the final but lost to a very strong Toorak Primary School. Congratulations to our 3/4 all-star boys who won every game and have progressed to the state finals. We wish our boys all the very best for Monday, November 21 at Dandenong. 

5/6 Hoop Time Basketball

After much disappointment and postponement,  our District Hoop Time Basketball event finally proceeded against St Kilda Park Primary School. Thank you to all the volunteers who supported the event and coached a team. Special mentions to our All-Star Boys & Girls teams who made the grand finals, with our girls' team claiming a dominant victory.

Lastly, it's always nice to see past students visit PMPS, shout outs to Nash & Cooper Allen, and Charlie Webster for umpiring at MSAC on Wednesday, it was nice to see supporting this community event.
