Grade Three Snapshot

Dear Parents,

It was with open arms that we welcomed Grade 3 students back to school last week. We can't tell you how lovely it was to have the children back where they belong! The energy, laughter and excitement brought our buildings back to life! There is nothing like having the noise and bustle of children back in the school grounds and in our classrooms following the long periods of absence and BPS being eerily empty!

The focus for the first few weeks will be ensuring a smooth transition back into the school routine, acknowledging the students will likely need to ‘relearn’ how to interact appropriately and effectively with their peers. Many will be readjusting to the length and structure of the school day and this may initially be tiring (for teachers too). We will be flexible with expectations throughout the first weeks based on our observation and judgements of how the children are settling in and we ask you all to be mindful too.

We were incredibly proud of all the Grade 3 students in their efforts for home learning and last week again they demonstrated resilience, commitment and enthusiasm to begin their last term in a very positive and successful way.

As always, please don't hesitate to contact your class teacher if you have concerns about your child.

Please enjoy this last edition of our newsletter publication for the term, which will provide you with an insight of next week's learning focus for each curriculum area.
