Tennis

Welcome back to a new school year. This term it is all about tennis! Due to our success in delivering the Hot Shots program,  I was fortunate enough to attend the Annual Teacher’s Conference  in Melbourne as a guest of Tennis Australia. I joined 17 other teachers from around Australia to share in good teaching practice, was made privy to what Tennis Australia has to offer to schools and saw Serena Williams and Novak Djokovich play in the 4th round. The highlight of the two-day conference was playing Red Ball Hot Shots on the court in Melbourne Arena at 6am before the tennis stars came out for their warm up.  Watch this space for regular updates as to how OLA is achieving more participation in tennis through Hot Shots.
