President's Report Term 3, 2023

Hi All

It has been a very busy couple of months at the kindergarten.  A big thank you to all our families for supporting the Easter and Mother's Day raffles which raised a total of nearly $2500.  This is really amazing!  We also were the winners of the Grilled token vote and received $300 which will go to purchasing new resources for the kindergarten.  

Don't forget about our Miniature Railway Train Day which will be held this weekend on Sunday 13th August (refer to the dates page for more information).  The kids will love it and it's a great way to come together as a community.   A big shout out to Melissa and Kaitlin for organising the fundraising and special events.  Also a big thank you to our grants team, Caroline and Brooke, who successfully applied for a grant to support this event.

We have applied for a $200,000 grant to support the upgrade of our backyard through through the Victorian Government Building Blocks program.  We have our fingers and toes crossed and should know the outcome of our application by the end of this term.
