Yoga time of the day... In theory as a wind down before bed... To be debatable but fun!

The girls have embraced this exercise with great enthusiasm, putting lots of thought into their comments

Wow, the 2022 school and boarding year comes to an end. What a wonderful year we have had, filled with fun and laughter as well as some serious moments and chats.

The fourth term has brought an end to the 2022 Year 12 cohort and the beginning of Year 12 studies for the 2023 group. Study times have been super quiet as the girls establish routines and adhere to assessment timetables. Interspersed has been work placement for several of the girls mostly in the health field. Both Rory and Hayley worked shifts at the Wagga Base Hospital and Ava worked at Kurrajong with young children.

Overall it has been a happy,  peaceful, and cooperative year amongst all the senior girls. On a personal note, I have had the best year ‘hanging out with the Senior girls and have enjoyed the conversations both intense and hilarious.

A special goodbye to Pinsiri ( Syn) and Sierra as they move to being day students from 2023. There will always be a room waiting if they want to return as they will be missed.

Have a peaceful and happy holiday all together as family and for those returning in 2023 I am looking forward to another great year.

JUNIOR BOYS

Dear parents and junior boys, thank you for a wonderful year full of fun and laughter.

Sadly we have 4 boys leaving MEBS and heading off to Sydney and Melbourne to continue their education. We will really miss Jack,  Rohan, Harry, and Hugh and their funny antics and bubbly personalities and the fun times we spent together. We wish them all the best for the future and a life full of love and laughter.

The Christmas decorations and the Junior boys' area are looking great! Lots of celebrations and activities were organised for the end of term and we couldn't wait for our Boarding Christmas dinner.

Senior Boys

Welcome to our last Senior Boys' Boarders Buzz for 2022. With half our students gone due to the Year 12 finishing school, life in the Senior Boys boarding has been very quiet.

Room allocations have been decided for next year, and for some ( Ryan and Angus) it was a very drawn-out process.  Look forward to seeing the Year 9 students, and new boarding students in the Seniors next year.

Senior students enjoyed an afternoon playing “Laser Tag” on Monday. Ewan “Slayer” Middleton was the star performer.
Rusty left MEBS this term for trials with the North Sydney Bears. We wish him all the best for the future
Harvey, and his band Depazzi have been kept very busy this term.

Matt Mitchell is leaving MEBS. Matt really embraced being a Senior this term and his leadership and sense of humour will be missed.

We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.
