Principal's Message

with Mr Brendan Gill

Dear Families

We have had a wonderful term.  As it comes to an end, I would like to thank all those involved in our community so far this year.

It has been a term of preparation.

Students and staff have made good progress and have set themselves up for a great year of learning.

Our literacy programs are in full swing.

Our new extension groups have started.

We have certainly experienced a lot of preparation in our building works.

We have a new entry and a new carpark, and I am confident we will be in the hall at some stage next term!

Our kitchen staff have enjoyed developing relationships with our students.  Just ask our kindergarten students, who enjoyed cooking gnocchi with Andrea and Bridget last week.

We have engaged with a new before and after school care provider.  Whilst this has been a rocky path this term, I am confident that this preparation will bear long term fruit.

We have also commenced the early planning of a kitchen garden, the hope being, that we can grow some of our own produce for our school lunches program. 2023 is set to be brilliant.

Have a restful Easter.  I wish the joy of the risen Christ to our whole school community.

Brendan Gill

Principal
