Grades 5/6  Huon and Sassafras

Huon and Sassafras students have been exploring light in our Light Shows Science unit. We have investigated which materials are transparent, translucent and opaque. We have made light boxes to show the importance of light in enabling us to see. We have also conducted an experiment on refraction - how light can make a pencil appear to bend.
