We are very proud and excited to share that we are finalists in the 2023 ResourceSmart Schools Awards! For 2023, the Awards theme is ‘Achieving great things’ and celebrates sustainability actions.
We have been nominated for 2 awards – ‘Emerging School of the Year’ and ‘Volunteer of the Year’. Our nominated volunteers are Melinda Williams and Anthony Moran who work tirelessly around the school to make it great, in particular at our Thursday Garden Club.
The ResourceSmart School Awards are Victoria’s largest sustainability celebration for primary and secondary school students, teachers and school volunteers taking remarkable sustainability action.
Melinda, Anthony, Mr Angus and Ms Emily will be attending an awards ceremony at the MCG on 15 June 2023 together with our grade 6 Sustainability Leaders and 2 parent representatives from our Sustainability Committee.
