Education Week and Community Engagement

Education Week across Victoria begins on Sunday 21st May.  With the theme, Healthy Mind, Healthy Body, we are currently planning some engaging and healthy whole school activities that we will run during this week.  On Friday 26th May we invite family members and carers to the school to join in an activity and celebrate the weeks learning.  We will have an activity session at each campus; Watsonia Campus will commence at 9.15am and Bundoora Campus will commence in the afternoon.  At these sessions there will be an opportunity to meet other families and discuss your thoughts on further positive family school involvement and family support.

Further details for the Education Week family activity day on Friday 26th May will be provided closer to the time.

Disabled Car Park Space

It has been noted recently, especially during special events, in the rear school car park, cars without a disabled car park permit displayed have been parked in the allocated disabled car space.   As we have a growing enrolment, our need to access a disabled car park space has also increased; we ask for the school community to be considerate and only park in this space if you have a disabled car park permit, and display this.  Disabled car park space allocation was discussed at our School Council meeting this week.  The council unanimously decided to assign a disabled cark park space at the front of the school, which has now been organised and the new signage will take place in the next couple of weeks.

School Photos

Our professional school photos will be taken over the next couple of weeks; Watsonia Campus on Wednesday 10th May and Bundoora Campus on Monday 15th May.  Students will have individual photos and class group photos.  Order forms will be sent home next week.

Book Fair at Bundoora Campus

The Book Fair will be set up in the Bundoora Campus library. All students at the Bundoora Campus will have an opportunity to view a wide range of books on display that are available for sale from Scholastic Books. Once students have visited the fair they will take home information on how to purchase a book of their choice from the fair.
