Year 7 Camp
PGL Adventure Camp, Kyneton
Thirty–nine excited Year 7 students boarded the bus to PGL Adventure Camp on Wednesday 27th to Friday 29th March. With a forecast of warm weather, we were set for a fun time of activities, which included: flying fox, abseiling, possum glider, raft building, low ropes, Around the World, bush craft, giant swing and aeroball. For some, the activities proved daunting but together as a team, students were able to face their fears, forge new friendships and learn more about each other.
They all became competent at cleaning up their table areas after their meals, scraping their plates and placing their utensils, to be washed, in the appropriate buckets. They took turns to wipe down their tables and ensured that the areas were left clean and tidy. They were certainly a credit to Shepparton High School.
For some, it was their first camp away, while others had participated previously in the experience but for all the fun they shared together will be instilled in their memory forever. The photos show the wonderful time and adventures had by all.
