Student Performance Average
Congratulations to all students who achieved a Term 1 SPA report of 4.5 or above. These students have been recognised for their continued effort, attitude and commitment to their learning.
The students were presented with a certificate during our ANZAC day assembly and two lucky students had their names drawn to also receive a $20 iTunes voucher.
We would like to recognise these students for their effort, attitude and commitment to their learning. Well done! We continue to encourage all students to display the school's core values of Respect, Responsibility and Commitment.

Attendance: It's Not OK to be Away
The way you train is the way you play; if you miss training or train poorly, then you’ll perform below your potential. Attending classes and applying yourself well follow the exact same principles.
Developing gaps in a students’ knowledge base severely restricts both his/her understanding and progress. It is difficult enough to make up lost ground when a student is genuinely ill, but verging on impossible when away for unjustifiable reasons.
Absences and/or lateness to school also shows a state of mind that places a low value on a student’s education. The days of starting at the bottom of an organization and working your way up are virtually gone.
Entry for most jobs/careers relies on a certain level of education and both the willingness and capacity to pursue further training.
Parent condoned absences or allowing your child to be late regularly are eroding students’ chances; let’s stop the rot. In future, if we have a school sporting event or camp or a school day before or after a public holiday please ensure your child attends school.
Should you require support in saying NO to your son/daughter in regard to any absences other than illness, please contact his/her Teacher Advisor or Year Level Team Leaders immediately.
If you are not sure if there is a holiday for the students please contact the school. Let’s all work together to make a difference to your child’s future!
Winter Uniform
With the onset of cold weather nearly upon us, it is an appropriate time to remind parents and students to prepare their winter uniform.
We want the students to be warm in the approaching winter months so we urge you to plan early and have their winter uniform ready for wear. Please name all items your student will bring to school.
We have a supply of second hand uniforms if you would like assistance; please inquire at the school.
Please note hoodie windcheaters and baseball caps are not part of the school uniform and should not be worn to school.
