There has been a positive buzz in the Bluff Road Library since the start of the year and it's all to do with reading!   

Students in Years 7 & 8 this year have one period a week of reading for pleasure, this magical period takes place in the library and students are taking full advantage of finding their 'right book'.   It is a wonderful experience to see so many students lost in their stories.

To support the reading program, the library will run competitions throughout the year.

The first competition is an Online Catalogue Scavenger Hunt.  This will teach students how to use the catalogue to search for books.  The catalogue is available to students 24/7 via the Library Website.  In the coming weeks, information will be released on the website about 'The Game of Words reading challenge'.

New furniture at Bluff Rd campus!

Students have taken advantage of the new furniture in the library, and it has fast become a favourite space in the library.

The new furniture is stunning and enhances our First Nations Collection.

The design called Coastal Waters is by Bundjalung and Bidjara man Steven Bekue.
