When a Hero Comes Along by Florence Davey
Hi, my name is Super Flo and I have ice powers. I was born as a superhero but no-one knew, which was brilliant because I never wanted anyone to know I was a fantastic superhero.
One day I went down to town and I saw a cat up in the tree. I was going to save her. I said, SuperFlo to the rescue!” I finally saved it. Afterwards I went home and had a warm cup of tea.
Hero by Lara Scammell
I am a hero because I can fly into outer space and catch a star.
A Hero Comes Along by Indie Powell
I have a secret. A secret that no-one knows… I have super powers and I can fly and freeze things. I also have super speed and super strength. My name is Alpaca Girl.
One day I was flying around town when suddenly I saw a villain trying to destroy houses. I was on a mission that day.
The next day I was at school but everyone was acting super weird for some reason. I looked around and all the people were frozen except for my friends. My friends are all superheroes to me. Katie is Beegirl, Grace S is Chinchillagirl, Jess is Goatgirl, Grace F is Puppygirl, Adelaide is Kittengirl, Mia is Ponygirl, Kiara is Butterflygirl, Claire is Catgirl and Lara is Horsegirl.
Off we all went to fix up the town. I realised what villain it was. It was Superslug and Superdog. It was a difficult rescue but we managed to stick together and save the town.
At school the next day, there were two new kids. My friends thought they were the villains in disguise. I did too. At night, my friends went to investigate. We found the villains so we fixed them by using our superpowers to make them clean up their act. Luckily, the villains became superheroes with us.
I was so tired when we were done but thankfully, everything was back to normal. Are you a superhero?
