Reading is so important and so much fun!

Term 3 is coming to a close and we look forward to being back at school for learning in Week 2 of Term 4. Not long now!

Thank you to all of our families for supporting our students with learning at home and in particular with their reading. So many of our students are proud of their ability to read and they enjoy sharing their favourite stories with others. Reading with your child is a means of increasing their confidence as readers and promoting their comprehension ability, vocabulary knowledge and enjoyment in reading.

Congratulations to the students who have participated in the Premiers Reading Challenge this year. The Challenge aims to encourage a love of reading for leisure and pleasure in students, and to enable them to experience quality literature. Happy reading everyone!

Best wishes to all for a relaxing holiday!

Thank you to all the parents and carers who have done an outstanding job over the past 6 weeks. Seesaw has allowed most of us to connect with ease during this time. Your photos, videos, completed work tasks and feedback has really given JSA  a great understanding of how the learning experience has been. We look forward to returning to full onsite learning in Week 2. Week 1 of Term 4 will continue with remote learning.
