Room 5
Room 5 have been learning about how plants grow.
They have planted alfalfa seeds and observed the changes they see. Sam’s alfalfa is ready to eat! That was just in time for our wonderful Health and PE day last week. Christian showed us what he likes to eat to stay healthy, while Mohammad worked on his basketball skills. Ajit enjoyed an Art activity this week and all the students have viewed stories read by the staff.
We are all so very proud of all the students in Room 5!
Room 14
As the term is coming to an end, Room 14 students have been sharing pictures of how they have been working at home.
All the Specialist activities have been a welcome break from Maths and English. Some of us have taken time to improve their music skills, joining in on Catherine’s choice board and Lucas has really impressed use with his violin skills. Whether on-site or at home Rosie’s Art activities have been great fun and Edward and Rehan were eager to share their work. The dress up days were treats – and showing our house colours or dressing up for Book Week gave the staff and students the opportunity to join in the fun.
Room 23
It was an interesting term. In term 3, some of the VCAL students had the opportunity to attend school and had fun in learning Numeracy, Literacy, Cooking, recycling and other fun activities. The students are all looking so grown up!
Some students attended remote online classes and had the opportunity to work with their teachers and other peers. Students completed their one minute, “Videos for change” as a part of their PDS project and learnt how to create brochures and flyers for their Car wash project.
