Remote and Flexible Learning Week 9 and 10

We made it! As we move through the last week of term three and look forward to the school holidays, it's time to congratulate parents, students and teachers on the amazing effort we have all made to get through seven weeks of remote learning.

I'd like to acknowledge our Teachers and Education Support Staff  for the amazing job they have done this term in providing quality teaching and learning support. They have demonstrated their adaptability, creativity and dedication to students during less than ideal circumstances. Our students at home have shown that they are dedicated and committed learners, willing to persist and try new things.

For the small group of students on site, they have shown how adaptable and resilient they are, working with different students each day, different rooms than their normal classes and new staff each day of the week. The new operations guide has indicated that for the first week of term four we will continue to use the current remote and flexible model and then from week two there will be a return to on site learning for everyone.

Please keep an eye out for some correspondence from us early during week one of term four about how we will implement the return to school for all students. During these holidays take advantage of the warmer weather and extra hours of exercise available. Enjoy the well earned break!

PLSPs.

Teachers have finalised the Personal Learning Support Plans and these will be emailed to all families on Friday 18th of September. If you do not receive your plan by the end of the day, please email emmaleen.oakley@education.vic.gov.au and we will follow this up. If you would like to discuss the goals with the classroom teacher, they will be available for follow up in the first week of term four.

Premier's Reading Challenge.

The Premier's reading challenge finished today and our students have done a fantastic job participating. Thanks to all the teachers and families that supported the students to be part of this initiative.
