Life Education & Healthy Harrold

Last week we had Liz and Healthy Harrold from Life Education visiting our school & doing sessions with our students.

The Preps and Lower Primary students enjoyed exploring health, hygiene and safety issues in the #MyBodyMatters sessions while the Secondary and Upper Primary students participated in activities and discussions regarding healthy and respectful relationships via the #RelateRespectConnect module.

Senior Secondary - Fantasy Event

This week our Senior Secondary Students got to showcase their 'Fantasy Event' for students and staff to come along and enjoy.

My First Year

Our Prep Students featured in The Morning Bulletin this week.

"Hundreds of prep students walked through the school gates for the first time this year, signalling the start of their school journey.

This year our annual My First Year prep feature has returned, capturing the hundreds of smiling preppies from schools all around the Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast regions.

From cheeky smirks to broad smiles, our reporters have captured those precious moments with special galleries of the classes of 2022".

Farewell

Congratulations to our wonderful Deputy Principal Sam Dennis who had her last day at Rockhampton North Special School on Wednesday 18 May.

Sam has been at the school for an amazing 25 years, where she has taught many of our previous students across many year levels of the school.

Sam will be greatly missed by all at the school and we wish her all the best in her new adventures.
