Room 27

“Dear ISO Journal”

During Remote Learning this year, we pushed the narrative that it was important to talk about our thoughts and feelings given the current circumstances.

Sometimes it’s difficult to talk about certain things and sometimes it is easier to write about it. Will assigned us all to do a weekly ISO journal to enable us to put pen to paper to talk about our experiences with lockdown and learning from home.

In our journals we talked about different things. Not only did we talk about our feelings, but we also talked about our families, what we were having for dinner, what lessons we did throughout the week, as well as some of the fun things we did when we weren’t learning from home. Most of all, we wrote about the things that we were thankful for. Some of us wrote in our journals, others decided to keep a digital journal.

Room 27 did an amazing job on their journal entries and did their best to better express themselves in written form. Outstanding work all around.

Secondary Sub School News

Last week I shared the curriculum documents for Year 9, Year 10, Year 11 and Year 12 students. I will be sharing the Year 7 & 8 curriculum documents with families on Friday December 4. Could you please support your child to complete the 2021 student program preference form and return it to School. All curriculum information is within the curriculum booklets.

I would also encourage you all to complete the parent volunteer form as well.  It would be really great to have you on board for some of our programs, including; sewing, café, and building (woodwork). Please let me know if you need any hard copies as well.
