This term the grade 3/4 students have been looking at forces as part of their discovery unit. Students have used their knowledge to design and create a contraption to protect an egg. This term they had the opportunity to drop their designs. There were lots of different ideas including parachutes to slow the drop down, balloons to cushion the landing, and cotton balls to stop the egg from bouncing around.
