When the Year 6 Boys attend Colouring Club!!

Dear Parents and Friends,

What a busy two weeks we have had. Students in Years 4-6 had swimming trials and the swimming team have already started training. I was so proud of each and every child that participated in the swimming trials, they did an amazing job and tried their best and that is all I can ask. Congratulations to the children who made the swimming team.

ENHANCING CATHOLIC IDENTITY SURVEY 2021

All families will receive an email on Monday with an invitation to participate in the 2021 ECSI Survey. This survey assists us in better understanding how our Catholic Identity is expressed in work and paractice here at St Brigid's Primary School.  The survey is completed online.  The survey will also include our staff and our Years 5 and 6 students.

All are free and bookings are not required to attend, but there are capacity limits associated with our buildings. If the capacity limit has been reached when you arrive you may need to wait until someone leaves the library/room. Please try to arrive early to avoid this happening.

It is so exciting to see our local library back to running children’s programs for all ages. I hope some of you take advantage of the programs.

RUNNING CLUB

Running club has resumed this week. If you would like your child to get fit or just run for fun, all are welcome to participate. It is on a Wedenesday at 8.15am for 15 minutes.  This is a good preparation for our cross country to be held on the 11th of March.

SCHOOL PHOTOS

Our School Photo Day is coming up on THURSDAY 25 February.  Photo order forms will be sent home with your children on Monday. Please note there are a couple of changes to the ordering system this year as SchoolPix is now cashless.    Like many businesses, SchoolPix evolved during 2020 to minimise the risk posed by COVID-19.  In the interests of the ongoing safety to SchoolPix staff and the wider community, they have changed their business practices to NO LONGER ACCEPT CASH PAYMENTS.  Also this year if you wish to order Sibling Photos please ensure that you place your order online before 8am on Thursday 25 February.

UNIFORM SHOP

Our Uniform Shop will be open next Tuesday 16 February from 2:45pm until 3:30pm for any last minute purchases prior to School Photos the following week.  A reminder if you are coming into school to visit the Uniform Shop you must wear a mask.

Yours in partnership
