Chocolate Cakes              Equipment

 Ingredients                          

½ cup margarine             

2/3 cup sugar                                            

½ teaspoon vanilla essence

2 eggs

½ cup milk                                               

CHOCOLATE ICING

1 ½ cups SR flour                                   

1 cup icing sugar                                           

2 tablespoons cocoa                            

 1 tablespoon cocoa

 30 ml water approximately                                                          

 

                                                                                                                                                

 

What to do: 

Instructions 

  1. Use a spoon to fill ½ cup margarine, measure 2/3 cup sugar and put into the bowl.
  2. Mix butter and sugar with a wooden sugar until creamy.
  3. Measure ½ teaspoon vanilla into the bowl. Then crack 2 eggs and mix well.
  4. Measure ½ cup milk and sift 1 ½ cups flour and 2 tablespoons cocoa into the bowl.
  5. Prepare the  patty pans on the oven trays. Use 2 spoons to spoon the mixture in.
  6. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 10-15 minutes. When cool ice cakes.
  7. Combine icing sugar, cocoa and water in a small bowl. Mix well. Spread on cakes and top with 100’s and 1000’s.
