Pizza Day Success

Well it looks like MPW families love Pizza! We didn’t think we could surpass the amount of Pizzas ordered in Term 2 but we were wrong. Many students enjoyed Bakers Delight Margherita and Hawaiian Pizzas for lunch last Friday with the biggest school pizza order our local bakers have ever seen! Thank you to all the families that were able to support the event, every pizza purchased raised $1.00 for our school. The fundraising team would like to thank our helpers on the day who sorted and delivered pizzas to hundreds of happy and hungry kids – Sandra, Anthea and Andrea. We would also like to extend a big thank you to the team at Bakers Delight Ascot Vale and Showgrounds for all of the support not only with Pizza Days this year but with Hot Cross Buns and hundreds of loaves of bread for our BBQ's. Please shop local and support them if you can.

Union Road Christmas Celebration Cake Stall - this Saturday!

This Christmas we have been offered the fabulous opportunity to run the Cake Stall at the Union Road Christmas Celebration this Saturday 7th December between 10am and 2pm.  This is always a fun day out for the family with lots of great activities to keep kids and adults entertained and a tremendous opportunity to raise additional funds for our school. Each family should now have a plate, ingredients list and wrapping for their contribution, if you have not received yours please see the office. To ensure the stall is a great success we would love for you to consider making and baking some delicious treats to sell on the day. We will require your donation to be delivered by Friday 6th December to the school office ensuring all ingredients are labelled. Please do not use any ingredients that require refrigeration (eg cream). Thank you in advance for your support and yummy treats!

MPW End of Year Christmas Raffle

The fundraising team have finalised the End of Year Raffle and each family will receive a list of the prizes along with 10 tickets to sell within the next week. Tickets are just $2 each with the Prize Pool totalling over $1,200. There are some amazing prizes up for grabs including a weekend getaway, dining vouchers and some great school holiday days out.  Look out for the details in your eldest child’s school bag!

Help fight the war on waste and encourage someone you know to be more sustainable this Christmas with their very own KeepCup! KeepCups make a great gift, especially perfect for KK presents. They are now available to purchase through the School Office with two different sizes and several different colours available – Small 8oz are $14 and Large 12oz are only $16. Why buy just one – consider one for every member of the family. Also, each KeepCup sold raises money for the school and we’ve partnered with Darling St Espresso who will take 50c off the price of your first coffee or milkshake in your new KeepCup!
