On Friday 12th March, the interschool tennis team represented Marian College at the SCSA tennis carnival. Marian had a junior team (years 7 & 8), intermediate team (Years 9 & 10) and senior team (Years 11 & 12) that all performed very well.

Both the junior and senior team advanced to the final but unfortunately, both teams just came up too short, finishing second overall. However, our year 9 & 10 team finished first and became the intermediate champions. 

Congratulations to Caitlyn Vaughan and Olivia Sloman for winning the most valuable player in the grand final.

Overall, it was a fantastic day as all of the girls really enjoyed themselves and tried the hardest they could. It was a tremendous performance from all of the students in the Marian tennis teams as they performed extremely well and showed great teamwork and determination.
