Junior School Council

Junior School Council (JSC)

Last week, the student leadership team and I delivered Junior School Council application forms for 2023.  We also spoke to each grade about the responsibilities of being on the JSC team. 

This is an opportunity for one student from each year 3, 4 and 5 grade to work together with our leadership team.  Together they will be able to collaborate with staff and students, share ideas, contribute to our school, promote whole school initiatives as well as events and celebrations.  Students must be positive role models in our community who consistently demonstrate school values and expectations.  They must be able to work well with others and respect student voice for all students at our school, as well as attend leadership meetings.

Students who have nominated themselves for a position will prepare a one-minute oral presentation that will be delivered to their peers, teachers and members the student leadership team on Monday 20th February.  Students in each grade 3, 4 and 5 will be encouraged to vote, as well as our student leadership team, the classroom teacher and other teachers.  

GOOD LUCK to all students who apply.  We will announce the JSC leaders at our next whole school assembly.
