Cross Country

Congratulations to the students who represented our school at District Cross Country on Friday May 17th.  In perfect conditions for running all our team members did an outstanding job with MPW finishing in 5th place.  Thank you to Jarrod and all the parents who came along to support and assist with marshalling the course, we appreciate it.

Congratulations and good luck to Xavier C (5th), Jake S (5th) and Archie D (10th) who have qualified for Divisions at Brimbank Park on Wednesday June 5th

Winter Sport

This week winter sport continues with MPW Blue play North Melbourne at home (Football at Maribyrnong Park)  MPW Gold play St Margaret’s away (Football at Maribyrnong Reserve, Maribyrnong).

Students will play games of Football, Netball and Tee Ball.  Students who are not selected in their team for a week will participate in some Basketball coaching from SEDA students, who are being supported to develop their coaching skills. Gr 3/4 students have also been participating in the Basketball sessions as part of their transition to Interschool Sport.
