Principal's Report

Principal's Report
Dear students, families & friends,
As we approach the end of week four of remote learning, whilst it has had its challenges, we feel it has developed smoothly. All required technology has been pushed out to homes as required and students are working productively online. If you are still having trouble with technology please talk with your child's classroom teacher. If you still need to collect a device please call the office. I have linked up with some classes online which made me realise how much I have been missing the student engagement. Don't forget there are still learning packs available either at the office for collection, or packs can be collected from the bus drop off points in the afternoon, again please talk to your classroom teachers.
We appreciate the work and support you have all provided in these challenging times. You have played a major role in keeping us all safe and supporting our staff in delivering ongoing education to your children. Without your help none of this would be possible.

School Council Report
Dear Naranga School community,
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Marie O’Neill and I have been elected as the 2020 School Council President for Naranga.
I would like to share a little bit about myself and my family. I am 49 years old and have 4 children, my youngest child attends Naranga. I also have a beautiful grandchild. I have been on the school council for five years; for the last two years I have been elected the treasurer and had the opportunity to work closely with the finance subcommittee. I am honoured to be elected the School Council President and I look forward to working with Kai Pukarinen and the other school council members.
Kind regards,
Marie O’Neill

Daily changes to student bus arrangements
If you need to make a change to your child's bus arrangement for the day, a note to the office or a telephone call MUST be received no later than 2pm on the day of the change. Every one of our students must be on either a bus roll or the walker's roll, and amendments to travel arrangements need to be correct to avoid students not being accounted for at the end of the day.
