A MESSAGE FROM OUR ACTING PRINCIPAL

Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome I have received over the past weeks.

I have been Assistant Principal at Peninsula Specialist College for the past 12 years and am now looking forward to my role as Acting PrincipaI at Dandenong Valley SDS. I have already spent time with our students in the playground and visiting many of the classrooms to see our students learning. I look forward to meeting our families and others in our school community over the next few weeks.

Student Illness

The Department of Education has asked us to remind all parents to keep your child home if they are unwell, particularly if they are showing COVID symptoms. This will help stop the spread of any illness at the school. Please let the office know if your child is away. We have included information in this newsletter for you to read.

School Driveway

Can all parents and staff please make sure that they drive at walking pace when on school grounds. This will help keep everyone safe at drop off and pick up times and please remember not to enter the driveway during bus times.

Sun Smart

Just a reminder for all students to wear a hat and sunscreen in Term 4 now that the weather is getting warmer.

COVID Changes

We are waiting to hear about how the changes to COVID 19 restrictions will affect our school. We will let you know of any changes as they are announced.
