Celebration Day 2020

On Friday 6th November, the Year 12 Class of 2020 gathered at the school to acknowledge and celebrate the significant effort that completing Year 12 this year was. 

Students brought the party atmosphere with a range of brightly coloured and fun outfits. 

The day commenced with an opportunity for Year 12 students to thank their teachers for the time and effort they committed to teaching in 2020. Students shared their emotional and heartfelt speeches via WebEx with the entire school, with many tears shed. 

The respect and appreciation shown by students towards their teachers were genuinely touching. The day continued with a chance for students to capture photos of their classmates and school "family" before a short concert from the two Year 12 bands. The bands performed their assessment songs highlighting the impactful and celebrated music program at the school. 

Students had many laughs during a trivia event about their time and experiences at Craigieburn Secondary College - a fitting and fun nostalgic reflection of the last six years. 

Finally, students paraded through the school, showcasing to the rest of the student body the opportunities ahead of them. It was a fun and memorable day that washed away the stress of exams for a few hours.”
