Compass Parent Guide
Thank you to our families who have accessed Compass during remote and on-site learning – your engagement in your child's/children’s educational journey is valued and appreciated. Thank you also to all the families who have completed Compass Insights Surveys this year; your feedback and consultation is welcomed and vital to our continual improvement as a school.
If you have yet to inform the College on your child’s/children’s intention to return to CSC in 2021 please call 9308 1144 or go to Compass Insight Survey – thanks for your responses so far!
Why use Compass?
Compass allows parents and carers to access up-to-date and meaningful information about the school and your child’s progress. Compass includes many different features, including the ability to:
- Monitor your child’s attendance, and enter an explanation for absence or lateness
- Communicate with your child’s teachers, and update your family contact details
- View newsfeed messages and information
- View your child’s timetable and the school calendar
- Monitor your child’s homework and assessment tasks
- Download and view your child’s academic reports
- Book parent-teacher conferences
How do I access Compass?
Compass is accessible on any modern web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari) or by using the Compass iOS or Android apps.To access the parent/guardian portal, you can go to our College website or LMS and click the Compass link. Alternatively, you can go to Craigieburn Compass to login to the Parent/Guardian Portal.
To log in, you will require your unique family username and password. These details are provided to you by our school upon your child's enrolment, however if you require these details please contact the College.
Upon first login, you will be required to change your password and confirm your email address and mobile phone number. These details may be used by our school for SMS, password recovery and email communication throughout the year.
