Calling for volunteers for 2023

As we head towards the end of the year, we will be planning for 2023. We thank you for your contribution to the running of the canteen in 2022 and ask if your availability will be changing in 2023, to please let either Becky or Karen know.

Any Kindergarten parents of 2023 who are able to assist in the canteen, please also let Becky, Karen or Sally in the office know. We always are looking for extra volunteers. 

Compass Canteen 

Families are able to order and pay for their children's lunch orders online through the Compass App.

If you have any trouble using the Canteen feature in Compass please feel free to read the guide below or send Karen an email on krizzi1@arm.catholic.edu.au

A few things to remember:

There is a $0.20 fee per transaction.

Cut off time for online ordering is 9:30am on the day of canteen. This allows plenty of time for the administration side of things to be completed before our volunteers arrive.

Ordering online is optional but preferred as it limits cash handling. If you still wish to place an order on a brown paper bag, please try and enclose correct money as change is limited due to majority of students using the online ordering option.

Baskets will be placed outside the canteen for teachers to distribute to the students.

Please be assured that frequent hand washing, wearing of gloves and regular safe food handling practices will be adhered to at all times. 

Price increase to canteen menu

Please ensure you have the recent canteen menu listed below as we have had to increase the price on a few menu items.

WWCC - it is a requirement that ALL PEOPLE (including parents) who spend time working with children in classrooms or working in the canteen provide to the school one of the following:

Working With Children Check - on line application - lasts five years - this is the preferred option.

Working With Children Declaration - only for those who are exempt from the WWCC.  Form available at the office - lasts one year - requires one hundred points of identification (we need original or certified copy of documents).

Once again we are asking that those parents who do not have a Working With Children Check please take steps to obtain one.   If you already have one, please notify the school of your WWCC number and your date of birth for verification.
