Parent Teacher Interviews

Over the next few weeks the teachers would like to meet with parents for Parent Teacher Interviews  to discuss how students have settled into school and set individual goals for 2020. Mrs Pittman will email families with times available with your child's teacher. Please respond with your preferences and Mrs Pittman will confirm your interview time.

Primary Classes Yr 3-6 Science and Engineering Discovery Day on Tuesday, 10 March

Our primary students are looking forward to the incredible opportunity to attend the Science and Engineering Discovery Day on Tuesday, 10 March 2020 at Lazenby Hall University of New England.

 

Thank you families for returning the permission note. Please make your child is at school on Tuesday the 10th March for the early departure time of 8:15am and make arrangements for a late pick up  time of  3:30pm at school.

WALCHA SHOW

All classes are busy getting their entries ready for the show on the 13th & 14th March.

Our lunch time Gardening Group are also preparing to enter some vegetables & flowers from the school garden. Good Luck!

Walcha Youth Advisory Meeting 5th March

St Patrick's Year 6 students will host the Term 1 meeting. We are looking forward to discussing and planning the next holiday activities for the youth of Walcha. 

Ms Menz from O'Connor visited Yr 5 & 6 

Last Thursday Ms Menz visited our Stage 3 students to invite them to the 2020 STEP Days at O'Connor.

She also gave all students Kindergarten to Year 6 an invitation at attend Mary Poppins on Friday 27th March at Lazenby Hall UNE. With the invitation came the cost of the bus to travel to Armidale, generously covered by O'Connor.  THANK YOU Ms Menz & O'Connor for the exciting gift for the whole school to attend your school musical performance Mary Poppins on the 27th.

A permission note outlining the 27th March excursion to Mary Poppins will be sent home today.

Clean Up Australia Day - Friday 28th February

On Friday St Patrick's children participated in Clean Up Australia Day by picking up rubbish within our school grounds.

Well done children on making a difference and caring for our school, community & planet.
