ANZAC Appeal

From next Monday 20th March, the JSC representatives will be coming around to each class every day, giving students and teachers the opportunity to purchase the following, in the lead up to ANZAC Day on April 25th.

Badges for $1, $2 and $5
Wristbands for $3
Bag tags for $4
Pens for $5

These items can also be purchased at the office and all funds go towards the ANZAC Appeal. Thank you for supporting an important cause.

JSC Hot Cross Bun Drive

It is that time of year again where the JSC are running the most delicious fundraiser for our school, the Hot Cross Bun Drive! Each year we are blown away by the incredible support from the RPS community. We have not yet decided what we will use the money for, as many of our JSC reps have reported many different things their peers have said they would like. Our JSC reps have surveyed their classes to see what the money should be put towards and we will announce it once a decision has been made. Yet another way to promote student voice at RPS!

This year, there are four options available: Traditional, Fruitless, Choc Chip and Apple & Cinnamon. The easiest way to order is via QKR, or you can make cash/card payments by filling out the below slip and making payment at the office.

Orders are due by Friday 24th March and will be delivered to school on Wednesday 29th March, and handed out to the students. $2 from every order will be donated to RPS! Don't forget to ask family and friends to purchase some too! The JSC will also be providing a special prize for the class that sells the most packets!

Book Club - Issue 2

Magazines for Issue 2 of Book Club are on their way home.

Every purchase from the Scholastic Book Club not only gives your child wonderful educational resources at home, but also contributes to the school Library collection which benefits all of the school children.

There are 4 ways to order:

1. By credit card using LOOP, where you complete the book order and pay online – nothing needs to be sent back to school

2. Credit card over the phone, you still need to complete an order form & return it to school with the 11-digit receipt number

3. Cash (correct money) in an envelope with the completed order form

4. Cheque (made payable to Scholastic Australia) with the completed order form

Orders are due back to school by Friday 24 March, with delivery around one week later.

SRI News - Christianity

SRI will start on Monday 20th March, after school, from 3.45-4.15pm in the Library. There is still time for interested families to fill in the permission form (attached or available at the Office) and return it to Ally in the Office.
