YEAR 2 RECONCILIATION TALK

With the Sacrament of Reconciliation fast approaching, Father Sabu visited our Year 2 students to discuss the importance and meaning of this special sacrament.

ST PATRICK'S DAY

Last week we celebrated the Feast of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, commencing with a beautiful Mass on Thursday.  On Friday we continued our celebrations with the children coming to school dressed in green mufti clothing.

The Year 6 baked goods stall was a huge success with a long line of students wanting to purchase delicious homemade treats!

From the activities on Friday we raised over $700!!  All proceeds will be donated to Caritas Australia's annual Project Compassion. Thank you to our families for your generous donations and support of this worthy charity.

CARITAS AUSTRALIA

The Project Compassion boxes are due to be returned to school on Monday 3rd April (the last week of Term 1.)

During the term, every family received a box and pamphlet from Caritas Australia. The aim of Project Compassion is to fundraise to assist some of the world's most vulnerable people to create a future full of hope for their families, communities and For all Future Generations. As well as making donations in a class Project Compassion box, the students will learn the stories of people from around the world to show how Caritas Australia has supported them.
