Jiu Jitsu Classes

Are you interested in trying Jiu Jitsu?
I am Chris Crusinski, originally from Brazil.  I  graduated in business administration . I am a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighter and  have coached for 18 years at Cia Paulista Brazil Jiu Jitsu and in 2014 I graduated to Black Belt by the head coach of CPBJJ, master Eduardo Leitao 5th Degree.
I came to Australia  to continue training and teaching in the soft Art of BJJ in Cia Palista Australia. Due to the fact I had conquered Gold International Medal Status in Europe, Brazil and Australia I was granted a Permanent Residence Visa and completed my 2nd Degree in my belt here in Australia in 2020.
At QOP I would like to introduce the "School  Fight Project”, as its central objective : to provide students with extracurricular activity with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu nowadays considered the best in the world. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu helps with focus, displicine , teamwork, self-control and confidence whilst keeping them fit and healthy.
If you are interested in enrolling, please contact me ccrusinski@gmail.com.
I look forward to training with you.
Regards,
Christiano Crusinski

Melissa Barbieri Soccer Academy

Hello everyone,

The Academy is pleased to announce that we are launching the Melissa Barbieri Soccer Academy to be held at our Notre Dame Campus.  Melissa is a former Matildas’ captain and globally renowned coach as well as being one of our most recognizable female soccer players.

This academy is open to female students in Grades 4, 5 & 6 and is free to participate.

This is a great opportunity for your girls to develop their skills, even if they already play for a club.

Emmanuel College

What an exciting week at Emmanuel. The boys at St Paul’s had their day out at Adventure Park, with lots of fun had and new friendships formed. ACC sport at St Paul’s and SACCSS sport at Notre Dame are winding down for the term with many students enjoying the chance to represent the College, some for the first time. It has been very rewarding to hear reports of excellent behaviour and that our students really played their sports in the right spirit.  This week at both campuses we hosted more than 350 students from feeder primary schools at our tabloid sports days. These days were conducted by our Year 11 VET Sport & Recreation students and were a fantastic experience for both our students and the primary school students. Our next major event is the College Open Day to be held on Sunday 22 May 2022. Bookings for the event are essential and can be made under the Tours & Events tab on the right-hand side of the homepage of the College website, www.ecmelb.catholic.edu.au

Please note that applications are now being accepted for Year 7, 2024. A Prospectus Pack containing an application form can be requested from the Enrolment Information tab, also on the right hand side of the homepage of the College website, by emailing enrolments@ecmelb.catholic.edu.au, calling the College Registrar on 8325 5119 or visiting our friendly staff at reception of either of our campuses. Applications for Year 7, 2024 close on Friday August 19, 2022. We hope to see you at a school event soon.
