Yellow Ladybugs
This wonderful Australian-based organisation run social events for autistic girls and gender diverse individuals, generally between the ages of five and sixteen. Planning is underway to resume physical events so take a look at the website here for future activities.
Harmony Day
Once again we celebrated Harmony Day on 21 March. This event gives our school community a chance to wear cultural dress or wear orange which signifies determination and meaningful communication. It is a day to celebrate our cultural differences. The children are involved in numerous activities including a parade and sharing cultures and traditions. The most wonderful part of the day was finally getting together as a whole school to listen to our talented choir lead by Mrs Wilson and Mrs O'Malley.
Families were asked to send in a cultural recipe to share with the school. Here are a few recipes for you to try at home:
