Holy Week
Our traditional walk to the 100 steps for Holy Week is on Friday 8 April. Children wear their sport's uniform and are encouraged to dress up as people of Jerusalem. Children bring a towel/blanket to sit on. All are welcome to join us.
After the walk we will all be enjoying Hot Cross Buns organised by the Parents and Friends Committee.
FUN FACT ABOUT HOT CROSS BUNS
Hot cross buns became commemorations of Good Friday, and across Christendom the cross came to represent the crucifixion and the spices symbolised those used to embalm Jesus at his burial. The bun had been blessed.
