BRICKLAYING APPRENTICESHIPS
New apprentices are needed now to address the growing demand for bricklayers in the building and construction industry.
Bricklaying Job Ready Program - (FREE OF COST) Program at Clarkson campus is starting from 7 November - 2 December 2022! 3 weeks of intensive full-time training (4–5 days per week) and a four-day work placement.
Bricklaying Job Ready Program aims to provide a pipeline of bricklayers to meet the needs of WA's booming building industry.
We are seeking candidates to enrol in this course. This intensive three-week course delivered by industry-experienced teachers will provide the pathway to seek an apprenticeship as a bricklayer in the construction industry and can lead to a career as a qualified bricklayer.

Course details:
Clarkson campus – from 7 November - 2 December 2022
- Induction will be held 10:30am - 11:30am, Thursday 3 November
- Week 1 - 3 Classes will run 8:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday
- Week 4 First 4 days are work experience. Friday 2 December is on campus at Clarkson.
This short program teaches:
- work safety practices
- how to use a range of construction equipment and tools; and
- skills to work in a construction team.
During your work placement, you will:
- gain real, hands on industry experience; and
- secure a ‘foot in the door’ by working with an employer.
