On Tuesday 21st February, 10 keen swimmers from Years 3-6 came along to our St Brendan’s Swimming Trials. These students participated in 50m time trials for freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke. They all showed determination and swam their best. Congratulations to Eirene, Catherine, Milla K, Ellie B, Diesel, Duke, Parker, Levi, Archer and Annabelle.
Congratulations to Eirene, Catherine, Milla K, Ellie B Diesel who qualified to represent St Brendan’s in the Bayside District Swimming Trials. These students competed against the other 12 schools in our District last Wednesday morning. They had an early start at the pool and were timed for 50m events. From these trials, Eirene, Milla and Catherine qualified to swim in individual events at the Northern Division Carnival this Thursday. Ellie will join them to swim in the Under 11 4 x 50m relay team. Good luck girls.

Wednesdays - Year 3 and 4, Foundation, Year 5 and 6
This year we will be running a St Brendan’s Athletics Day on Wednesday 22nd March. This will be a house event and will give all of our students the opportunity to participate in track and field events. It will also allow me the opportunity to select an Athletics Team to represent St Brendan's at the Bayside District Athletics Carnival on Friday 31st March.
Students will be practising all athletics events during Physical Education lessons.
