Parents please DO NOT send any devices with your child to school if the device has access to the internet. Children need to always be supervised when on the internet. This week has shown us what our children can be exposed to at any time.

Thank you for your support in keeping our children safe.

BOOK FAIR

A very big thank you for the wonderful support for the Book Week Fair & Parade.

Everyone had an enjoyable week from writing wish lists, hunting for the golden tickets hidden in the library, making igloos and dressing up on Friday!

A very big thank you for the donations of new books for the library. The children are queuing up to borrow the new books.

Enjoy all of the photos from the parade on the Book Week Fair page.

TERM 3 INTERVIEWS - Parent Teacher Phone Interviews Week 9 & 10 (14th-24th September)

Teachers will hold phone interviews in Week 9 & 10 to discuss students progress and setting goals for Term 4.

Please make sure you have contacted Mrs Pittman to book your time.

SCHOOL BAG TAGS

Tomorrow we will be sending home with children in K,1, 2, 3 & 4 a tag for their school bag which indicates if the child is travelling home by BUS or PICK-UPS.

Parents will need to ensure at the beginning of the day that the correct TAG is attached to their child s' bag. The aim of the Tags is to assist students in knowing how they are to get home in the afternoon.

School Performance Leader Meeting

Yesterday Mrs Makeham & myself met with our CSO School Performance Leaders, Mr Jason Hanrahan, Mr Justin Matthews & Mr Rod Whelan, to share the initiatives we have implemented in 2020 & our achievements. We are appreciative of the support of the CSO in helping to maintain and 'build on' from our 2020 achievements with our 2021 plan.

Manners Matter

Good manners matter. We expect our children to say excuse me please when they need to interrupt a conversation or walk in front of a person.

Please discuss these manners with your child and encourage them at home.

Current Covid 19 Protocols

  • Everyone needs to sanitise their hands on entry to school
  • Parents are not to enter school grounds at drop off or pick up times and must social distance when waiting outside the school gates
  • All visitors including parents must report to the office
  • Students with mild flu-like symptoms must have a COVID 19 test before returning to school. Parents must provide the school with evidence of a negative result.

Please continue to send a drink bottle to school for students as bubblers are still not to be used.

Survey My School

Thank you for responding to the Survey My School  which closed yesterday.

School Uniform

Please support the staff in ensuring your child/children are fully dressed in their correct uniform each day.  This includes the correct hat, tie, socks and black shoes.

St Patrick's has always had high expectations around the school uniform and it is an expectation that everyone wears the uniform with pride. The expectation is the correct uniform is worn everyday.
